Life is a chaos!

Nobody knows if there's a God. Theists and atheists may argue alike. I was never much interested in this question. Given my way, I would let everyone find their own beliefs in life. However, there is something which intrigues me the most. So much, in fact, that it's creepy.

Believers think that there's someone out there ensuring that we get what we deserve. Nonbelievers think that we are the creators of our own destiny. But I don't understand how both the theories fail to answer a simple question: why is there pain and suffering in life?

If we go by the logic of believers, perhaps we deserved this pain, otherwise God would have ensured our safety. Or if we go by the logic of nonbelievers, we have brought it upon ourselves, since we create our own fate.

Trust me when I say this, I would love to believe in any of these theories. But I can't. They are both void and meaningless. There are hundreds of things in life which we don't deserve, and we can't control. Who explains them, then?

The girl who gets raped merely because she was not inside a locked room, did she deserve it? The child who found himself inside an orphanage since the time he started remembering things, did he deserve it? The guy who cannot achieve mounting expectations from his family for want of something and finally decides to die, did he deserve it? Or did these people 'create their own destinies'?

There's no explanation except that life is unfair. However hard I try to think rational I end up with a loophole in the 'fairness' of the system. Its not there. Justice is non-existent. Life is about survival. Chaos is the truth of the day. Live if you can face it, or choose to die. Whatever you do, just don't expect anyone to stick with you.

It's appreciable to have our own standards of morality and conscience. But it hurts when people around us quash any standards of morality. What we don't realise is that they have different standards. That's where the catch is.

Everyone has their own god and everyone is an atheist of sorts. Here's the opportunity. Make your own rules and stick with them. There's no universal standard to compare it against. But even if you end up dying by following your own rules, you'd still be greater than the hypothetical 'God' or 'justice' or 'fairness', who are all ditchers!

  1. Too Good Palkesh ! Its a biggest irony between what we create for ourselves and what we have got in life. No body has answers. Perhaps this is only purpose of Life to figure it out
